The Healing of Forgiveness

We begin a new series on the miracles of Jesus. Each miracle tells us something about who Jesus is and what He is like. Each miracle gives us hope, and illustrates what it means to have faith to receive from God. This week we look at something every one of needs: the healing of forgiveness.

The Healing of Blindness

In this Waymaker series, we are looking at the miracles of Jesus. Miracles tell us something about who Jesus is, and in some cases, something about ourselves. In the account of Jesus healing a blind man, Jesus shows He is the true light that gives light to everyone. If you are searching spiritually, and find you can’t understand the Bible, it may be due to spiritual “blindness.” Or if, as a Christian, you wonder why your friends and family are so uninterested in Jesus. Again, spiritual blindness may be the reason. This message will be so helpful to many people

The Healing of Shame

Shame is a complex and powerful emotion that encompasses a deep sense of humiliation, disgrace, or guilt about one's actions, behaviors, or self. It is a universal human emotion experienced across cultures. Dealing with shame can be challenging, and people often employ unhealthy coping mechanisms to manage these difficult feelings. This week we look at how the Waymaker (Jesus) opens the way for healing from shame.

The Way When There's No Healing

Jesus is the Way Maker – He always makes a way. Sometimes He does it through a miracle, like a supernatural healing. Other times, He makes a way through the sickness or struggle. This week we examine why healing doesn’t happen, and the way forward that Jesus makes for us.

Healing by Deliverance

When Jesus healed people, the bible often says he he made a way for people by healing those who were demon-possessed. The reality of demons might be doubted by some, but when you look at some of the inconceivable evil acts by people, the only explanation seems that evil forces were involved in some way. This week we will look at this idea of demon possession, how to understand and recognize it and what can we do about it, particularly if we believe we see the activity of evil spirits in our (or our children’s) lives.

Healing From Death

As we close out our “Waymaker” series on some of the miracle healings of Jesus, we plan to look at perhaps the greatest miracle – the resurrection of Lazarus. A man who was dead for 4 days was brought back to life! Incredible. But this amazing healing from death points to another resurrection – the resurrection of Jesus. And His resurrection points to the resurrection of His followers. And their resurrection in the future changes their lives in the present
