RESILIENT FAITH

Resilient Faith Week 1

This week we start a new series in which we will look at the hero’s of faith in Hebrews chapter 11. These heroes teach us how to walk in a resilient faith that withstands trials, temptations, and the uncertainty of life. In this week’s message, we are reminded that God can be trusted, even when the world around us tells us that it’s foolish to do so. God’s history of keeping promises will help us “keep moving” on with Him. Biblical faith isn’t a “leap of faith” for no reason, but a faith that willing to “leap” because of what God has done in the past.

Resilient Faith Week 2

We continue through Hebrews 11, where we are introduced to the faith of Abraham. God’s call to Abraham and to live out God’s plan for him. Many times, God will call us to something that seems completely outrageous, but we will need to learn to trust him with those things. We may have to accept that we will only see the beginning of his promises to us. Abraham represents a faith that was rooted in “Following God’s Plan,” even when they didn’t see it fulfilled in his lifetime.

Resilient Faith Week 3

How do you keep your faith resilient? A faith that keeps going; that keeps on “tickin” when you take a “lickin” as a famous watch maker used to say. Our current series seeks to answer this question. This week we look at the power of faith in testing, facing death, in parenting, and in making choices. Trusting God opens up to us a power that keeps us going forward – not backward, not quiting, not giving up. Join us in-person to learn from some Old Testament saints how they were able to develop a “Resilient Faith.”

Resilient Faith Week 4

As we close this series on developing Resilient Faith, we will look at the courage displayed by those “cloud of witness” who are our examples of what resilient faith looks like. There are times we need to take heart and times we loose heart. Trusting God brings courage to face the giants in life, and reinvigors courage when we are discouraged. Learn to trust God and take heart in your time of need.
