Powerful Prayer Basics
If you want to get closer to God, spend time praying! In this series we are going to look at the “Power of Prayer.” How can we pray? How do we hear God’s voice? What is the authority of the believer? These questions and more will be examined in this series.
Authorityof the Believer
As we continue in our study of the power of prayer, we will look at the spiritual authority that is granted to all believers. This authority is something God gives us to use to extend His rule and reign in our own lives as well as the lives of others. Understanding this incredible resource is crucial to experiencing more power in our prayers.
The Name of Jesus
When Christians pray, we typically end our prayers with the words, “in Jesus’ name” and then we say “Amen!” Those words, ‘in Jesus’ name’ are perhaps the most important words in your prayer, for they can determine whether or not you get your answer! The name of Jesus is filled with power and authority. But we must be authorized to use His name. Join us for this fascinating look into “The Name of Jesus”
Intercession
Have you ever had someone pray for you? That feels good, doesn’t it? God calls His children to pray for others – to pray on their behalf – to represent them before our Heavenly Father. In this message we’re going to learn about interceding in prayer on behalf of others. Prayer becomes powerful whe we intercede and especially when we intercede as the Church. How To Hear God
As we finish up our series on ‘The Power of Prayer’ we want to explore one of the biggest hindrances to powerful prayers: not hearing God. Do you recognize God’s voice when He speaks? Jesus said “my sheep hear my voice.” The Father uses His Spirit, who lives inside every believer, to speak to you – if you’re listening. This will be a great message to guide you how to recognize God’s voice!
