JONAH, THE RELENTLESS LOVE OF GOD
You Can Run, But....
A series on the bible’s most famous runner – Jonah. The book of Jonah is about who God is and the kind of God He is. But is also tells us about ourselves, because theres a little bit of Jonah in all of us…we all run from God at times.
God's Discipline
We are exploring the discipline of the Lord. Like any good parent, God disciplines out of His love for us as His children. It’s never pleasant; and sometimes we might resent it a bit. But there are good reasons to not despise God’s discipline. See how His discipline worked in the life of Jonah, as we continue our series on Jonah: God’s Extravagant love.
White Flag
When we try to run from God, we quickly learn that we can’t out run Him. He disciplines us by sending a “storm” (or two),…not to get us back, but to bring us back. We then have a choice: do we surrender to His discipline or do we keep running. If God loves us enough to continue to pursue us, do we trust Him enough to send up the “White Flag?” It’s called “surrender.” Join us to understand the only viable option when God is pursuing us
Beyond Reach?
Jonah reminds us that no one is beyond the God’s reach. There’s nothing anyone has done, or no running from God that God’s can’t call you back. Join us for an encouraging word in Jonah’s story about who God is.
God's Great Compassion
We finish up our series on the book of Jonah. We wrap up focusing in on the incredible message about God and his compassion. We also take a look at Jonah and see he doesn’t really share God’s heart. The big question is, “do you?”
