This week we begin a new series called Giving Matters. Giving matters to God, to the church, to others and to you. Giving makes a difference in this world. Using our money wisely includes planning to give some of it away. Don’t think we’re just going to ask for money. No way! But we are going to examine why our giving is important…why it matters

 This week is a second look at why our giving money matters….matters to you, to others, to God, and this week…to our church. We’re not asking for more money. We’re asking every believer to see if they are giving the way God wants them to give. Stewarding (managing) our money and other resources is a discipleship question. Are you and I giving to our churches as faithfully as disciples should? It matters

 Have you ever been given something in a time of need? You know how you felt. Giving to others matters, doesn’t it? Giving makes a difference in people’s lives. This week we will take a look at how giving matters to others. You won’t want to miss this sermon.
