The Church and Servant Disciples
We return to the foundational series that shaped our journey as we prepared to plant LifeSpring Church in 2017. The American church has long wrestled with recapturing the vibrant community we witness in Scripture—traditions have layered upon traditions, and theological divisions have too often separated what Christ intended to unite. We don't claim to have all the answers, but we're passionately asking, seeking, and knocking for God to mold LifeSpring into the church He's calling us to be.
The Gospel of God
Every church shares one sacred mission — to make disciples who transform the world. At the heart of that mission is the gospel, the most powerful message ever spoken. But in a world filled with competing voices and countless versions of "good news," it's worth asking: what is the gospel, really? And how do we carry it to the people around us with clarity, courage, and love? These are not small questions — they are the questions that change lives.
Living Spiritually: Loving God
No matter where you are in life, you are welcome here. At the heart of following Jesus is one simple invitation: to love God and be loved by Him. But what does that actually look like — and how do we grow in it? Together, we're discovering that real change starts not with trying harder, but with understanding who God says we are. Whether you're exploring faith for the first time or have followed Jesus for years, there's a place for you at LifeSpring.
Living Relationally: Loving Others
This week, we continue our journey through the foundational messages that gave birth to LifeSpring — and we're turning our attention to the Second Great Commandment: loving others.
A church that truly loves is a living, breathing illustration of the gospel. It's not just what we believe — it's what people see. And how well we love isn't just a matter of effort; it's a matter of capacity. How big is your heart? How much room have you made for the people around you?
Loving our neighbors and loving one another calls us to agape — a love that doesn't wait to feel moved, but chooses to give attention and take action. It's the kind of love that changes people. The kind that changes us.
Come grow with us. We'd love for you to be part of the conversation as we stretch our hearts and deepen our capacity to love the world around us.
Living Missionally: Making Disciples
The Church has one great mission — to make disciples who transform the world. In the next installment of our Foundations series, we're going deeper into what that mission truly demands of us. America has changed dramatically in recent decades, and understanding that shift is the key to sharing the gospel with greater clarity, boldness, and compassion.
We'll explore the gap between how many churches are operating today and how the Church must rise to meet this moment. This is a message that will challenge you, equip you, and ignite a fresh passion for the people around you.
Prayer, Power & Warfare
As we bring this series to a close, we turn our focus to three essential ways every church must be equipped: prayer, God’s power, and spiritual authority. Prayer draws us into deep, intimate connection with the Father. His power empowers us to live on mission and walk in growing freedom from sin. And our authority in Christ gives us strength and confidence in the midst of spiritual battle. This final message will inspire and equip you as we revisit the foundational vision of LifeSpring Church.
