Maranatha Power Ministries International (MPMI) was born through a revelation God gave to Bishop Francis Afotey Odai in a dream.

In this dream, God revealed a dilapidated foundation of a mighty building in a remote locality which was destroyed by floods. A man dressed in light blue robe, gave him a charge “Repair, Build”. Being a former building contractor, he requested where he could secure laborers sufficient to undertake such a massive building and renovation project. Suddenly people started coming from the bush with building tools ready to work.

After waiting on the Lord the church was established on the 21st day fast on September 1996. The church has grown tremendously with over 70 branches scattered all over the country. Maranatha Power Ministries International has continued to enjoy the blessings of God till this day.
